CEO and Financial Planner
Mike is committed to waking people from their financial slumber. People are stressed, spread thin, overtired, and alienated socially from the people they care about most. Mike wants to challenge you to live your best life every single day…like every day is Saturday. Mike’s 18 years of financial planning experience has shaped him into a true leader and coach, helping clients find their path toward life fulfilment.
Mike founded Arcadia Financial with Jessica Panico, his wife and best friend. Together they’re raising two amazing boys in Derry, NH. He holds a Bachelor of Science in finance from Babson College and became a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional in 2008.
Chief Operating Officer
Jessica Panico is the Chief Operating Officer and Co-Founder of Arcadia Financial Group. She has been serving clients for over 18 years. Her primary focus is managing operations and marketing initiatives.
Prior to co-founding Arcadia Financial Group, Jess worked in various areas of the healthcare industry, most recently as a healthcare finance consultant. Her previous position was a perfect conduit to bring her from healthcare to the finance industry.
Jess has a Bachelor of Science in health psychology from Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences. She holds life insurance licenses in New Hampshire and Massachusetts.
Jess resides in New Hampshire with her husband and two adventurous sons. In her spare time, she enjoys being outdoors with the family, boating, and traveling.
Financial Planner, EA, CFP®
Justin Champlain joined Arcadia Financial Group in September 2018. Prior to joining the firm, Justin worked at Goldman Sachs and Brown Brothers Harriman. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in economics from St. Lawrence University and received his CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER (CFP®) designation through Boston University.
Justin lives in Merrimac, Massachusetts, with his wife and dog. He enjoys boating, skiing and watching New England sports teams
Dave joined Arcadia Tax in January of 2022. He attained a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Southern New Hampshire University in late 2019 and is an Enrolled Agent to practice before the Internal Revenue Service.
Dave currently resides in Nashua, and enjoys science-fiction, gaming, and watching football in his spare time.
Mason Arsenault joined Arcadia Tax in July 2022. He holds a Bachelors of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in accounting from Salem State University and earned his Enrolled Agent (EA) credential in April of 2019.
Prior to joining the firm, Mason worked for a number of small to medium-sized CPA firms ranging from Central Massachusetts to the Greater Boston Area. He has spent that entire time working as a senior tax accountant and tax analyst and just loves working with small businesses to help them navigate the complex world of taxes.
Mason currently resides in Beverly Massachusetts so that he can be around to help his Grandparents and other friends and family. Never wanting to sit still and always looking for new experiences, he has dabbled in everything from mountain climbing to ballroom dancing during his professional career.
Graduated from University of New Hampshire Magna Cum Laude with Bachelor of Arts in Math in 1974. Started working for Leon D. Davis, Jr. a Public Accountant right from college. The business was sold to the CPA firm of Maksalla & Bahsler, Inc in 1988. Then in 1999 another member joined the firm and it became known as McCafferty, Maksalla & Bahsler, Inc. Left the firm in 2000 to work at a local day care center where her daughter was attending. February 2004 joined the accounting firm of Linda J. Jacobson, CPA and Associates, PLLC where she remained until the merger in December 2022 with Arcadia Tax. Helen has over 44 years of experience in taxation.
Helen lives in Bedford, NH, which her husband of 37 years. Enjoys reading Clive Cussler novels, working outside in the yard and taking trips with her husband to visit their daughter in Carmel, NY.
Accountant
Graduate of Husson University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting and Master’s Degree in Business. Worked at Linda J Jacobson CPA & Associates, PLLC for nine years before joining Arcadia. Worked for ten years at various other CPA firms and worked 20 years for nonprofit and various private companies throughout New Hampshire and Maine. Have been a board member or officer for various nonprofits including past Secretary for Penquis CAP; Past Member of Keep Bangor Beautiful and as their Vendor Chair for their major fund raiser the Bangor Garden Show, which drew attendance of over 18,000 people. I was responsible for overseeing the 100 +/- vendors during the show. Most recently was member and Treasurer of Kingstowne Crossing Cooperative.
Administrative Assistant
Cheri Baker is a 2007 graduate of Rivier University with a bachelor’s degree in business management. She spent the next 15 years working in various areas of Financial Services, with a heavy focus on Investing and Retirement. Cheri joined the Arcadia Tax family in September 2023 as Office Administrator.
Cheri loves cats, spending quiet time in nature, helping others find their joy and passions in life, and finding creative solutions to life’s challenges.
She lives in Merrimack, NH with her chosen family and 4 rescue cats.
